Certifications

At Balance Yoga Barre, we’re passionate about sharing our knowledge and helping others grow as instructors and movement professionals. Our certification programs and specialty workshops give you the tools, confidence, and inspiration to lead safe, effective, and engaging classes—while honoring your own unique teaching style.


Become a Certified Barre Instructor
Our comprehensive Barre Certification Program blends the foundations of ballet-inspired movement, mindful fitness, and functional training. Over an intensive weekend, you’ll gain the skills to design and lead barre classes that are creative, safe, and effective.


What you’ll learn:

  • History and foundations of barre
  • Biomechanics, alignment, and injury prevention
  • Cueing techniques for all learning styles
  • Musicality and class flow
  • Modifications for all fitness levels
  • Creative choreography and prop integration


Format:

  • 2-day in-person training (Tulsa or Oklahoma City)
  • Includes training manual, hands-on practice, and final teaching demo
  • Led by master instructors Megan Cox & Elizabeth James
