• What can I expect

You are about to embark on a journey that will change your life in ways as unique as you.

As with anything new, please be patient with yourself. Remember, it isn’t possible to get everything correct right away. Even the most advanced yogi or barre student is still in the process of learning. Come with an open mind, expect to have fun, breathe, sweat, and move. Don’t worry about doing it all perfectly, just show up!

Please know that all of us at BYB value your growth and wellness, and we are here to support you!

  • Why is class heated?

You are about to embark on a journey that will transform your life in unique ways. As you start this new experience, please be patient with yourself. Remember, it’s okay not to get everything right immediately. Even the most advanced yogis or barre students are still learning. Approach this journey with an open mind, and anticipate having fun while breathing, sweating, and moving. Don’t worry about achieving perfection—just make the effort to show up!

We want you to know that everyone at BYB values your growth and well-being, and we are here to support you!

  • How should I come to class?

Initially, there is a great benefit to completing 10–15 classes in 30 days. This will give you a solid physical and intellectual base from which to catapult your growth. You will gain energy, decrease stress, and build a strong, pain-free body. Consistency is the key to your success! For optimal results, a practice of 2-3 days per week is ideal. If consistent, you will create a transformation over time. For life-changing results, expect to maintain a practice of 4-6 days per week.

  • What do I wear to class?

Each class is heated to 85-95 degrees, so dress accordingly by wearing comfortable clothing that can handle the moisture produced from sweat. As instructors, it is easier for us to correct proper posture with form-fitting attire.

  • What should I bring to class?

Water is the most important item you should bring. You will also need a yoga mat and towel. If you do not have these items, we have them available for rent.

  • Should I eat before class?

It is best to practice on an empty stomach. Avoid eating a heavy meal 1-2 hours before class. If it is an early-morning class, protein powder or greens powder will suffice and give you the energy needed.

Please come well-hydrated before class. To replace electrolytes, we recommend coconut water. It is the most natural way to get your sugar and salt levels back after sweating.

We truly believe in living a well-balanced life. We are excited to help you and encourage you along the way. Whether it be yoga or barre, we want to help you find your balance!
