FAQs
Studio / Class Questions
What can I expect?
You're about to begin a journey that’s as unique as you are.
Be patient with yourself—no one gets everything right on day one. Even experienced yogis and barre students continue to learn. Come with an open mind, be ready to move, breathe, sweat, and have fun.
Most importantly, just show up. We’re here to support you every step of the way at BYB!
Why is class heated?
Heat helps increase flexibility and reduce the risk of injury—just like heated glass becomes more pliable, your muscles respond similarly. A warm environment allows your body to stretch safely and effectively.
Plus, sweating is a powerful way to detox, boost your immune system, and support weight loss. Not sure about the whole sweaty thing? Give it a try—you might just learn to love it!
How often should I come to class?
To build a strong foundation, aim for 10–15 classes in your first 30 days. This jumpstarts your energy, reduces stress, and sets the stage for a pain-free, powerful body.
Consistency is key:
- 2–3 times a week: Great for steady progress and overall wellness.
- 4–6 times a week: Expect powerful, life-changing results over time.
Stick with it—you’ll be amazed at the transformation!
What should I wear to class?
Our classes are heated to 85–95°, so wear lightweight, breathable clothing that handles sweat well. Form-fitting attire is best—it keeps you comfortable and helps instructors give posture and alignment tips more easily.
Do I need to bring anything?
Water is the most important item you should bring. You will also need a yoga mat and towel. If you do not have these items, we have them available for rent.
Should I eat before class?
It’s best to practice on an empty stomach. Avoid heavy meals 1–2 hours before class. For early-morning sessions, a small boost like protein or greens powder is plenty.
Come well-hydrated, and consider coconut water afterward—it’s a natural way to restore electrolytes lost through sweat.
At BYB, we believe in balance—in your body, your routine, and your life. We're here to support you every step of the way!
